I don't know about you but I remember listening to, and being influenced by, music at a very early age. In fact I associate a certain song with almost everything that's happened in my life; whether good or bad, happy or sad, music has always been there - and dance music in particular.
It was with that in mind that I decided, two years ago, to share a weekly post on Facebook, highlighting a piece of dance music history. Very personal in nature, and selected according to mood, I called it the Feelgood Floorfiller. Did it change the World or end wars? Who knows, I dunno. In reality, I guess all it did was make me, and a few others, happy.
So, here we are in a new home on the web and with a new purpose. We will embark on a journey to good-time central, with many stops along the way. Now I could be a snob and insist on only choice tunes from the underground (whatever that is these days), but I won't. Instead I'll showcase music that tore up the dancefloor at school, in the village hall, at the disco, in the night club, at the rave, and the Birthday party in your front room. From Underworld to Barry Blue, anything goes. It's going to be a blast. Let's get to it.
